Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing and calibration of new production test equipment.
• Perform calibration, upgrades, testing, and repair of both customer-owned and leased test equipment.
• Record all test data and failure information in the production database.
• Provide technical telephone support, including remote troubleshooting, to customers in the field.
• Perform in-house repair, testing, hardware and software upgrades, and calibration services on test equipment.
• Fulfill customer sales orders as required.
• Make recommendations for improving quality or production test methods and processes.
• Utilize analog and digital troubleshooting techniques and equipment for board or sub-assembly level diagnosis.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Associates in Electronics Technology, Electronic Engineering, or Electronic Technician Certificate.
• Experience working with electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, and frequency counters.
• 3 years of experience as a Customer Service Technician I or equivalent.
• Demonstrated proficiency in system test level, troubleshooting, and repair of power industry test equipment.
